Young Newport Website
Are you between the ages of 11 and 25? Do you live in Newport?
If the answer is 'yes' then this website is being re-designed for you, to give you better information about events, news, activities, services and opportunities available for you in Newport. We want your opinions, views and support in re-designing the Young Newport Website; the Information Shop is looking for young people to become part of its web editorial group.
The new site will have an editorial group, with support from Youth Workers, which has the responsibility for the management, production and maintenance of the website. The web editorial group will also decide / elect members to sit on CLIC’s National Editorial Group responsible for the ‘CLIConline.co.uk’ website, the national information and advice channel for young people in Wales. Haven’t got time but still want to contribute? Then represent your local community as a grassroots reporter or participate by submitting articles for the Young Newport website about local projects, activities, upcoming events, new initiatives and youth opportunities in your community.
The web editorial group will be supported by Newport Youth Service, in partnership with ProMo-Cymru. Participants will have the opportunity to gain training and accreditation. For more information please contact us or download our form.
